Orchid
K.C. Clifford is a hidden treasure, and Orchid is her best album yet. She combines incredible music with lyrics that will speak straight to your soul. She sings one of my favorite lyrics of all time in track #3 Jericho when she reminds me that "we are infinitely more than just the sum of all the pain that's come before." She truly has the "Voice of an Angel" as she sings about on track 8. She has the heart of an angel. Give her a listen...I promise you will not be disappointed!!
Orchid
This is KC's best yet. Her clear, strong, lyrical voice and her message through her writing are powerful and moving. Wow. Love it, through and through.
Soulful, Spiritual, Fun... An aural dream!
Orchid is by far K.C. Clifford's most cohesive album to date. The strength and power of her words, her voice, and the instrumentals all combine to make one amazing collection which demonstrates her journey and growth, as a person and an artist!
If you are already a fan of her music, you will be blown away by every single track on Orchid. And if you're just finding her for the first time... do not second guess buying this album. It is a true treasure. K.C.'s music has a way of fitting every mood... every scenario... every moment... just like a friend, sitting quietly beside you and holding your hand, running along a country path on a sunny day laughing together, crying with you in a time of pain, celebrating with you in life's most special of moments, and lifting you up when you're feeling down.
This is a "repeat-button" kind of album if there ever was one...
