Exceptional!

Their is hardly a word in the English language that can describe the majestic essence of power, beauty, and magic that Orff so powerfully blends in his masterpiece, Carmina Burana. Featuring some of the most outstanding Symphony songs ever written, the London Symphony spectacularly performs these legendary masterpieces with dedication, skill and rythm, perfectly blending the tension of fortissimo and the dark, melodic, quiet tones that echo throughout Orff's beautiful music. He waeaves together a picture like no other, his music even being used in the incredible Lord of the Rings movies, giving them a since of majesticness and a larger than life perspective. Here's to Orff and his incredible masterpiece that deserves all the praise in the world, challenging the work of geniuses such as Amadeus Mozart, Beethoven and Bach. This music deserves to be appreciated for what it truly is, an unmistakable work of beautiful art that truly echoes the powerful essence of music that binds the soul, mind, and spirit. God Bless....and enjoy!

Good, but

This album was good, but the voices were drowned out by the instruments too often.

Exceptional Piece of Work

This piece of music is very challenging with many key, tempo and rythm changes and the London Symphony Orchestra an extremly good job of balancing and blending these diffrent styles capturing the entire piece as a whole. There are many other orchestras that play this, but none come near to the skill that the London Symphony Orchestra can create.
