Most Are Original
All but two or three are originals. I know, I have the original vinyl. Sometimes, these compilations are not original, especially the K-tel series. These, for the most part are true originals. "You Were Mine" is speeded up for some reason. When you slow it down you see it is the original.
Original Solid Gold Hits
All these Versions are in fact the Originals!, cause I said so! I would like to know what they did with #2 song 'You Were Mine' by the Fireflies? Sounds alittle speeded up and scratchy. Do not mess with perfection. Other than that, It's a good compilation of songs.
Remakes vs. originals
"Duke of Earl" at least is the original. Can't vouch for all of them, though.
