looking forward to full album...
With a sound that smacks of The Beatles, and vocals close to those of Regina Spektor, this EP is, i hope, the first of many to come. Granted, the songs do sound a bit the same on this EP, but the beats are great and the lead singer's voice is so unique that i believe it will be used to their advantage in other songs. Looking forward to hearing MORE!

Based on Sounds Familyre's reputation I thought i was automatically bound to love Ortolan...I thought wrong. The songs on this EP are very childish, but not the Danielson childish (that i like) it is more immature and hurts to listen to. Personally I enjoy music that has much soul and feeling..Sadly, Ortolan does not have that. Maybe the full length will be different. But i was not impressed in the least with the EP.
Great band
Ortolan is a really really good band. I've seen them live so many times, and they're awesome every time. They should have picked some of their better songs for their ep, but I guess we'll hear some better ones once the album comes out...
