MODILL iz MAD ILL/RACE CAR & K CRUISE!!!!!

I waited to see if anyone else was going to be first to drop a review on this work of creative voyage. I am a Graphic Designer/illustrator with MIGHTY ZULU NATION roots. I said all that to say I feed off of the energy that comes from real Hip Hop. It gets me flowing and helps me to bravely explore my art form project by project. MODILL is rich with REAL Hip Hop Energy. It's obvious that these cats (AVOID COMMERCIAL RADIO) trends. They have kept their style pure. As unrefined as the lyrics and production sound, it is self refining on a whole other level. My favorite cut is JUXTAPOSE, I wish I knew the creative process they went through to deliver this song. What ever it was, the energy flows right into my creative works and so on. If this review doesn't help you too bad. I just wanted to share the vibe these cats created. If your ear has been poisoned by commercial C(RAP, listen to this over and over till you get it. It won't stick to your wall the first time, but give the MODILL detox time you'll see what I am saying TRUST ME...peace!!!!

I have been looking all around for this album/ i was listening to all da songs on da site for a long time/ and i was telling my friend / that it would be cool if i could just have i t playing all da time/ and finally i find it on itunes/ im gonna listen to this album until i know all da lyrics of all da songs/

Great follow up

This is the second great albulm from Modil in a short amount of time. Midnight Green was amazing and this follow up proves that it wasn't a fluke, K Kruz and Racecar are for real. Im very excited for the future of this group.

Chicago locals Racecar and K-Kruz originally formed underground hip-hop group Modill as a MC-producer pair in 2003 before joined by ThaiOne Davis in 2004. Drawing from Native Tongue-rap, jazz, and Chicago soul and electronica, producer/drummer K-Kruz shapes the group's breezy and progressive sounds for Racecar's and Davis' introspective commentary. Racecar first met Evanston, IL, native K-Kruz after becoming a member of Chicago hip-hop band FreeBasic, whose drummer was K-Kruz, in 2000. Signed on...
