Excellent ambient, but why isn't it mixed?
Oxycanta is an incredible look into some of the best Ultimae has to offer. Together, these songs give off a simular deep and chilled mood, despite the songs being from different artists. This is quality ambient at its best. The only downside to this iTunes release is that, despite what the album says, these tracks are NOT mixed. They seem to just suddenly cut off and start with the next track. These interruptions make it hard to enjoy the experience. If you want the album to be seemless, I would buy the cd. If you're only looking for certain tracks, buy them here.
Best ambient compilation
This is the best ambient compilation I've ever heard. No matter how many times I've listened to it, it keeps growing on me. This album is mixed (although I own the CD) but I guess in your iTunes select all the tracks, go to options, and change it to GAPLESS album. This will solve the problem mentioned by the other reviewer.
If you're looking for beatless music you won't be dissapointed.
