AWESOME
this album is super super good. Andy Deane of Bella Morte's solo outing is really amazing stuff, kind of like old school Bella Morte but it has a different sort of feel and is obviously more accomplished musically, of course, and i might say more mature and more well-rounded (not to say that old Bella material is immature or whatever, i'm comparing the two with great affection), but also with an energy i found really affecting. i felt like the whole album has Andy's enthusiasm stamped all over it, i could tell he was pumped about this record and it made me pumped about it too, and all the songs are totally killer. i know Bella Morte is supposed to have a new album out later this year, but Pain Management might remain my favorite album of 2010!!!!
Great synth offering!
Andy Deane of Bella Morte has a real knack for writing a catchy tune. On this release, he dives into the synths and comes up with a collection of great, dance-worthy tunes. "Long Way Home", the album's opening track, is an instant classic- the catchy chorus will keep you smiling for days. Get this album now!
Exceptional solo effort
Andy Deane, of Bella Morte fame, has outdone himself on his first solo outing. The first single released, Long Way Home is a wonderful electronic ride through the mind of this great song writer. Andy's voice lends itself well to the electronic stylings. The haunting tones mix well with the more crisp beats of the electronica.
I find that there is many similarities to the early Bella Morte albums where there was more sequenced music and less guitar. Either way it mixes well and the messages in the music are much more meaningful than you find with other Electronica.
Highly recommended buy.
