Awesome!
This is a great album! Love the song "Paint me a picture" it has a fun up beat tune!
Painted me a great album!
I've been riding around in my car listening to Paint Me A Picture for about a week now. All the songs put me in a great mood and make me feel like I do when I'm standing in front of The Steel Chops at a crowded bar holding a beer and dancing. These guys are great and I expect great things from them in the future!! I would highly recommend this album!!
Simply Great Music!
I’m always on the hunt for great local bands, but consistent quality and songs that really move me are hard to find. I saw these guys play at the I AM FEST “battle of the bands” competition in Chicago and their set was on an entirely different level than all of the other bands playing with them that night. Their singer had a ton of charisma and passion. The guitarists and bass were totally locked in with each other and were putting everything they had into their playing. The drummer was definitely one of the highlights of the entire evening with his beard and all! The band didn’t have an album out when I saw them, but I heard it was coming and was excited to download it. Well, it’s here and it’s fabulous! It’s the kind of album that grows on you. I put it on repeat after I bought it, and the more I listened, the more I realized how great it was! From the opening bluesy riff in Paint Me a Picture, to the powerful lyrics in Diamond, to the hard rocker Rebel Red, to the closing tear-jerker Never, this album is exactly what I said is hard to find: consistently great songs that also can move me (each in a different way). So, I love this album! I think (and hope) these guys will be discovered and take it to the next level.
