Album Review
A refreshed, revitalized sound that doesn't sacrifice the delicate touches that first made them unique; rugged, but still pristine. Much of the new spark emanates from the strings of honorary Junkie Ken Myhr, who peals out intense, biting lead guitar throughout. Especially prominent is his incendiary slide work on "Seven Years" and a spectacular cover of Dinosaur Jr.'s "The Post." Still, it's hard to imagine a ballad instrument more haunting and ethereal than Margo Timmins' voice.

Unheard and so sad
I almost......no I do believe I like this better than "Trinity Sessions". This and "Black Eyed Man" were immediately two of my favorites cds of ALL time. The Junkies are not heard often enough. I believe they should be played on radio stations across America. "Anniversary Song" just might be my favorite song.
Beautiful, unknown gem ...
Absolutely a good, even great album ... but "Crescent Moon" itself is one of the most perfectly-crafted, haunting, stunning songs the CJ's (or anyone else) have ever recorded. Anyone reading this far already knows about Margo's vocals, but not a false note in this song, and more than one shiver. I might buy Trinity and Caution Horses first, but this won't disappoint and don't leave without the song!
