Waited non patiently for this album to drop!!! Good stuff!!!
THE ALBUM in it
...a solid, well-orchestrated & significantly profound piece of work.
Cannot remember the last time I listened to an entire album in one clip... it's an amplification of our histories, the crisis of our times & the struggle that will continue. Thorough from the instrumentation of the beats, content & lyricism.
#4 on repeat - that beat? bambu? MALCOLM & MARTIN!? i had to throw on my cortez. elbows up.
RATHER SEEN - "I write raps for the brokest muf***r in the room, the dude who leave my show to a fridge with no food, gon rob the local liquor store, but got no tool, can't get a job cuz his resume ain't got no schools."
I want to get 10 albums this SUNDAY at the SD album release: all wrapped and un-opened to give to my grandchildren's children one day... to let them know what dropped in 2010.
A must listen
If, by common definition, an EP is an insight to an artist's upcoming LP, Bambu's next one would be Hip-Hop album of the year. Disagree? Then you obviously didn't listen to the CD.
