Think about it... not all French music is white music.....
French music has been heavily influenced by Algeria and Tunisia. If you know history, this is because those two countries had been colonized by France. Not only were they colonized by France but the french government actively encouraged ALGERIANS and TUNISIANS to migrate to France. Track 12 is French. The artist, Rachid Taha is French and happens to be of Algerian descent. So.... does that mean African influenced music is not french? Hell no. If those reviewers were correct then you can make the same argument that rap music is not American music because it is mainly sung by African Americans. Music is constantly evolving. The music is french and Rachid is very popular in France. Stop the ignorance.
Hear Paris in a New Way
This is a great album because it has a new way of listening to french music. This has great music and a mixture of techno and some alternative soft music. I would recomend it to people who want to relax and listen to french music.

This CD is so well done. Listening to this music, I can close my eyes and dream of paris at night. You don't have to speak french to love listening to this.
