Recorded live at the Passion 2011 conference in Atlanta, Here for You adds some new touches to the Passion Movement’s hugely successful worship experience. Back once again in featured roles are such mainstays as singer/songwriters Chris Tomlin, Charlie Hall, Christy Nockels, Matt Redman, David Crowder and Kristian Stanfill. Here for You restates the timeless themes of God’s love and majesty in personal ways — for all their dramatic flourishes, the songs ultimately speak to the intimate connection between Savior and believer. From the big, sweeping sonics of the title track to the tender faith captured in the closing number “Spirit Fall,” the album finds ways to exalt the Lord in a variety of settings. The Coldplay-like grandeur of “Symphony,” the rising fervor of the electronica-slanted “Waiting Here for You” and the country-rocking momentum of “All My Fountains” are among the highlights here. Most striking is rapper Lecrae’s fiery testimony in the midst of the atmospheric Crowder tune “Shadows.”

A couple of good corporate worship songs. :(

Passion conferences seem to have grown in popularity. I am glad to see that God is blessing the hard work that Louie and the artists have put into the Passion Movement over the years. But, there seems to be somethings lacking in the last few Passion albums. Not really sure what it is, but it would seem as if the artists were just getting together and coming up with some songs to sing. That may seem harsh to say, but in all honesty they just really haven't hit the mark in a while. This album is no exception, I am disappointed once again. I miss the worship songs that came from more than just a meeting with some songwriters. It sounds kind of dumb, but it is almost as if the passion is gone. I am sad to say it, but maybe it's time to take a year off. I know the money is probably good but the worship music not so much. They are ok christian contemporary songs, but not really for corporate worship in the Church. It pains me to be so critical, I do wish the best for the Passion Movement.

I love this movement!!

Haven't stopped listening to it

I love it! I have been worshiping to it all week. All my fountains makes me look silly driving down the road with the music blasting and worshiping to it! I like the whole album. Thanks to those of you at Passion that continue to write songs that lead me to the throne. God has used you guys in my life in ways that i will never be able to describe. Isaiah 26:8
