Tycho is beautiful

One of the best albums I have listened to, by far. Reminds me so much of the early Boards of Canada. The music of Tycho is very relaxing and yet at the same time inspirational- mellow and dark but with a few ups on the way, Tycho producings a very fluid and visual sound, a sound which many mainstream artists seam to be lacking.

Lush, Stoney, and Groovy

At last......iTunes gets this great Full Length from Tycho! Some of the best downtempo chillout stuff out there. Fans of other IDM acts like Boards Of Canada can seamlessly dive into Tycho's head-nodding drum loops, pulsing analog synthesizers, fat basslines, and spacey, hypnotic backdrops. The album itself is great when played in order, all the way through, but the remixes at the end throw in an interesting twist. Add a comfy sofa and lots of THC and you got yourself a great formula.

They finally came out with the full length album!

I don't know who these cats are, but as a collector of (too much) electronica and sexy, these guys just simply are one of the best!! I am not affiliated or know them in any way, but I feel as though I have to write a review for these guys! If you like sexy electronica, and far from cheesy, these guys are at the top. I have searched endlessly for anything as cool as them, and for the last few years have still fallen short of finding anything as cool as Tycho in my opinion. Please Tycho, keep up the EXCELLENT work, and come out with more stuff. I am anxiously awaiting more.

Tycho (Scott Hansen) is a producer and artist based in San Francisco, California. While Boards of Canada's blissful/melancholic IDM is an obvious inspiration, many of Tycho’s productions play out like complete electronic dream pop songs in isolation rather than vignettes or extended mood pieces.
