Album Review
In 1998, Luciano Pavarotti and "Friends" put on a gala concert in his hometown of Modena, Italy, to benefit orphans of the war-ravaged nation of Liberia. The resulting CD presents an international cast of pop stars joining Pavarotti in a series of high-octane duets and ensembles. It is all good fun and if, at times, a little campy, it is equally often quite exhilarating to hear all that energy flowing on-stage and through the house. It's interesting to hear American singers like Vanessa Williams and Stevie Wonder get into some European-style pop numbers, which have a heightened, almost operatic sense of melodrama. Rather than revealing an opera star out of his element, Pavarotti and his Friends show that there is common ground between them after all., Rovi

Brilliant Album
There are some really awesome songs; take Let It Rain sung by Jon Bon Jovi and Pavarotti. Pavarotti did these annual concerts for charity for countries in poverty, Raising Millions for Liberia. The only setback is that this album doesnt include the song sung by the Liberian Children Choir. This album shouldn't be shunned and downplayed from the other reviewers who don't seem to understand the brilliant experience and its inevitable versality in different music.
Do Not Judge
Do not judge on what you do not know. If you don't like opera or classical vocalists, do not listen to them! Don't bash well-known profound artists that you do not apparently know well to comment about. If I can survey from previous reviews that they were written by teenage girls who do not know anything about music. Do you even know who Claude DeBussy is? I can imagine the answer is no because both of you are so small minded people that you wouldn't even dream of listening to that type of music or any music that isn't mainstream pop. Here's an easy one--who's Kurt Cobain? I am not even 18 & a cheerleader (which doesn't really have to do anything except to hopefully break stereotypes) & I can pretty much determine that those two reviewers are ignorant idiots. I appreciate REAL music, not manufactured music from producers.
STOP!!!
THE SPICE GIRL'S SONG STOP IS EXCELLENT. IT'S THE KIND OF SONG YOU CAN'T HELP BUT SING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS. SO STOP RIGHT NOW AND BUY THIS EXCELLENT SONG.
