File these guys as a cross somewhere between early Johnny Cash and the Ramones. This is meant to be played loud. Hard driving and fast 1-4-5 chord progressions are coupled with lyrics that rattle past you like a fast moving pickup truck down a washboard gravel road. Yet it's the imagery and delivery by lead vocalist Clint Harrison will keep you playing this album over and over again. The raw, blue-collar honesty is incredibly refreshing and not overproduced. Music is not their day job - but they're playing as if their lives depended on it. Don't be surprised if you find yourself asking your friends why you haven't heard of these guys before. When they get "discovered" it's going to be a whirlwind. But hopefully new found success will not dull their hard-lived observations.
