Best album since 12 Off the Shelf
Been some rme since the great 12 Off the Shelf from his ORU days. Got to love the funkiness that is back in this one. Seems many wonderful hours will be given to take this one in. Played "12 Off..." so much last time i had to buy another copy and one for my brothers. Your awesome.

WaHoo!!! first to write a review!!! anyway, love the cd!! my favorites are children of israel, closer to you, taste for the water, neptune's taming of the seahorse and promise land. 5 stars all the way!!!!!
Incredible
People of Troy is quite possibly Jared's best work to date. While he hasn't yet made a lamp album not worth listening to, this one is truly remarkable. It has some of the most original songwriting I have ever heard, and no one can say that his music is a rip off of anyone, because no one writes music like JA. "Two Days in the Same Place" was brilliant as well, but POT is more of a return to his "12 Off the Shelf" days, bringing in a string quartet and and horn players. Make sure to check out "Idealistic", if nothing else. By far the best track on the album.
