Customer Reviews

Great. Similar, But Great.

For anyone who has listened to Walsh, her particular brand of light and airy pop music is in full swing. Expect a more one-sided sound than her past offerings, not to say that any song on "Peppermint Radio" is less entertaining than the last. Walsh channels a far more off-the-wall lyrical approach to the formerly straightforward love and loss songs of her previous album. Overall, a creative and pleasant addition to any fan of piano-driven pop of a simpler time. The standout tracks, such as "Save a Prayer" and "Monochrome", carry an eerily piercing tone and punch that stays with you long after first listen.

The Kate I've been missing!

I fell in love with Kate Walsh when I randomly ran across her first album, Clocktower Park, by chance. It became into one of my favorite albums of all time, and ever since I have been a huge fan. While I love all her albums, none seem to match up to the power, meaning, and haunting sound of the first. This album for me is the closest to the first, and it really does remind me of an unplugged Clocktower Park. I'm absolutely in love with this. Please give it a listen, and spread the word about this wonderful artist!

Refreshing....

I never thought I could like "A Little Respect" or ""Unbelievable." It is amazing how you change the arrangements and a song is entirely different than the original.
