Customer Reviews
fantastic,original and disturbing
Mike Patton is probably by far the most underrated artist ever. This album may not appeal to mainstream audiences(whilst it shouldn't)but it will strike a cord with any die-hard patton fanatic. Scary and beautiful at the same time. The range of musical styles this man can tap into is unparrelled. Check out the film too. It has Bill Mosely from House of 1000 corpses and Texas chainsaw massacre 2.
Just Brilliant!!
Just like everything else that Patton releases, this one's genius. If you're here, it's probably only because you know the multitude of his other projects... so... just buy it. Prepared to be deafened by the sheer and stunning beauty of all 15 tracks. This does not disappoint. Now, if we can just get him to release some studio (or live) sessions from his Mondo Cane project, life would be so much better. Incredible music from the world's most overlooked innovative mind!!
Reneisance man
I've been waiting a long time for Pats to do a film score and i have to say he blew me away as usual. It's a really fun soundtrack with some elemnts that throw you back to California and it's mixed to utter perfection. I'm still frothing over the last tomahawk record while still waiting to see them live. Mike is like wine, just keeps getting better with age. By the way, does anybody know who's playing on these tracks? i could easily detect Dunn's unmistakable disturbing tones.
