Pete Lacey-a great addition to the iTunes collection
I just downloaded both albums (Pete Lacey and Lacey-Mullins) from iTunes and totally am at awe at Pete's musical skills. I love the production, the style and the mood. Rich and deep and way smooth. Lacey-Mullens is well worth the listen as another example of talent and passion. The two work magic together.

A very tasty collection of songs here by Santa Cruz, CA writer, musician and producer Pete Lacey. The self-titled debut is classy and sophisticated and brings to mind the classics of Chuck Mangione, Maynard Ferguson and David Foster as far as the melodies and instrumentation goes, however, while the sensibilities of Pete’s music may be timeless, the notions are new and contemporary… such as beats infused with cool rhythms traversing between pop/rock and modern jazz. Our first featured track from PETE LACEY on SmoothJazz.com Radio is “Cloud’s Rest” which has been featured on radio stations around the world… the artist not only writes and produces his music, but he also plays keyboards, horns and drums!
