Excellent

This is NOT David Bowie's "Heroes" simply put into in orchestral form -- this is Philip Glass' adaptation of themes and impressions from "Heroes," in an entirely new fashion. It's an excellent work by Glass, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Great Album to Have!

Philip Glass has done some amazing work, and this is one of them. Heroes Symphony is simply great and a must have in a music lovers collection!

Excellent Symphony

Philip Glass has a way of growing on you the more you listen to his music. He reminds me of Bruckner in that he has a unique sound and does not copy anyone else. Over time, Bruckner grows on the listener as well. This "Heroes" Symphony is very good. The sound is excellent and the conductor and orchestra keep the music moving forward, which brings out the best in this Symphony. In 50 or 100 years, I bet these symphonies will be played often because they are serious works that can entertain the audience and they have merit and originality.
