Old School PJ's Originals
Man, I've had this album for so long it's hard to decide how many stars to give it. The production quality is kind of low compared to today's standards (and subsequent PJ albums). But in my 20's I would've easily given it 5 stars because back then all I really cared about was the music itself... and this music was one-of-a-kind back then.
The tracks have a real old-school flavor to them. Comparing this album to other PJ works is kind of like comparing License to Ill to every other Beastie Boys album after it. Truly a unique set of tracks in from the Phunk Junkeez anthology.
P.S. -- I also don't see "What the F*** Chuck", which should be on this album. Then again, I bought my copy more than 10 years before the iTunes store ever existed...
clean lyrics?
Excellent album from the boys from AZ, but don't be fooled by the 'clean lyrics' tag... though you should be able to hear that even from the samples.
