The Model's 'Physical' is addictive electro candy!
I didn't know what to expect with this album, but I was beyond pleasantly surprised. I was pleasantly blown away. Flashback to the electronic, synth filled 80's, then fast forward to a dancing, throbbing, laser beam lit megga club, stadium in 2009 and you kind of get a feel for what this album invokes. Sexy, irreverent, fun! At times, 9 Inch Nails, at others, The Cure, but it always reels you in like candy. Can't wait to see them live! BRING IT ON!
IT'S FINALLY HERE! WORTH THE WAIT!
I first heard about The Model from their remix of Wet Like Sweat by Naked Highway and since then I've seen them mentioned in every electronic music blog. This album surpasses all the hype and this band delivers the best electro album of the year! They pay homage to their 80's new wave heros but still manage to sound modern all at once. Plus that singer is SOOO sexxxy! Hope to hear some remixes soon!
Excellent Rock/Electro Mixture!
Excellent album that really has a chance of blowing doors open. His voice brings the mod rock stuff into our electro world. Its truly a great album and great to have it coming out of Philly!
