... but I wish there were vocals

I love Charlotte's music so much that I bought the album without listening to any of the songs first. I didn't realize the entire album was piano only, with no vocals. The music is still beautiful, and her talent is undeniable. I don't regret buying the album, but I do wish there were vocals. I love her voice so much, it's just not the same without it and I am a bit disappointed.

A Chance to Focus on Charlotte's PIano Playing

While I've liked every song Charlotte has ever recorded, my favorites have always been Charlotte and a piano and nothing else. After hearing her work become increasingly electronic and produced over the years, it's a nice change for her to get back to basics. I've always enjoyed piano improvisations, and I was a big Keith Jarrett fan, but his stuff can get a bit long and tedious. These piano improvisations are lovely, and she keeps them short and sweet, so there's plenty of variety. A fine addition to Charlotte's discography.

Wonderful Improvisations - Charlotte goes back to basics

I didn't honestly know what to expect from this colleciton, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has surpassed everything I thought it might be. It's more then just piano doodling - these are real compositions with feeling. I recommend to anyone who appreciates real music.
