Pepper keeping it original

People who say this is like no shame or its not like theirs roots, listen again. this has the simplicity of their songs all the way back from their first cd Give'n'it, mixed up with some new styles. its like their old reggae but they know how to write songs now, which they do a great job doing in this cd. its a must buy for a true pepper fan. you can tell each cd is pepper, but no two cds have the same sound. Now that is the signs of a great band.

Pockalolo is way better than this

This really is not like their older better albums... This album reminds me of No Shame... a maintsream stab. They need to go back to their roots and play reggae/dub/ska more... Kona Town was the best album and thats cause its got the good vibes people want... Bring that back pepper, before your too far gone on this mainstream river your floating down

Too main stream...

I've been a huge Pepper fan. I was dissappointed in this CD. I agree with others that say it's more mainstream than their past stuff. It seems like they've lost a bit of their edge on this one. It sounds a bit poppy, like they were taloring to teenage girls. There isn't even really a single song that caught my ear on this CD, which is really abnormal considering how many of their past songs I love. Bring back the reggae/ska, and get rid of the pop rock with occasional reggae riffing!

Rather, Pepper's music is a melodic and accessible blend of alternative pop/rock, punk, and reggae. Formed in 1996, Pepper is hardly the only alterna-rock combo that has been inspired by Jamaican sounds. But while other punk-minded alternative pop/rockers who emerged in the '90s were greatly influenced by either classic '60s ska or hardcore dancehall artists like Stitchie, Ninjaman, and Bounty...
