Oh My!
The Beatles take on psychedelia had nothing on Syd's far out, sweaty palmed, manic freakiness. Lucifer Sam's riffs are golden. I use to own an old tape that had been recorded over "Chariots of Fire" soundtrack. In between Flaming and Pow R Toc H. you could hear the faint sound of the strings and horns. For a long time, I thought it was part of Floyd's recording. To this day, when I hear that space, I hear that music also. Far out. Stethescope is unmatched even by today's jam bands. I don't know why I call him Gerald! HA! Great stuff.

Ive bought 2 copies of this album and Im gonna by a 3rd on digital so as to not get it scratched again. Turn it up and listen to the sound scape that this album will create for you. Matilda Mother, Flaming, and The Gnome are my favorites. But the whole album is the only way to go.

I don't care what anybody says.. This is the greatest Psychedelic album of all time, if only pink floyd kept on this path after syd left *sigh*
