Great second release!
With this release Piranah have managed to keep their core sound intact and take some great strides forward in their writing and overall direction and sound. Check out "Visions of the Damned" as an example of some new twists in the Piranah arsenal. The production on this self titled CD is excellent, especially for an indi metal band. The playing is top notch and songs like "I Am", "Mutation", and "One Wish" really stick in your head after a few listens.
On my favorite track "Let Me Live" the dual vocal attack really fits in with the pounding riff that makes the base of the song. The combo of the two singers works well throughout the CD and is a cool touch that they don't overdo. Overall a really solid record, worth picking up or at least trying out a couple tracks.

Not sure what Digital_Death was talking about. This CD is amazing! The production is top notch and the songs...KILLER! My favs are: Mutation, I Am, Visions of the Damned and Counter Attack. Great Prong cover as well. A must buy!
