Pixel Vision
This album is great, I love every song in it! Ray makes amazing music, and I'm constantly listening to these songs. If Pixel Vision becomes a real game I'll be sure to buy it!
Ray's Vision
Ray Hargreaves is not a techno musician. He is not an electronica musician. He is an artist. Ray can create upbeat tunes and melancholy pieces. He is a master of the keyboard, the lord of synthesis. I can feel the 8 bit rush of joy every time I turn on Pixel Vision. This could be considered to be a wordless rock opera. Anyone who has come into contact with video games will be able to picture Lace, the stories protagonist, amidst magma pyres or soft clouds (mattering upon the song.) It's a good thing that it is a wordless rock opera, while Ray is a master of his keyboard he is a poor singer. Nonetheless, Pixel Vision is worth the price, or at least worth picking up for free (which is possible by hitting up 2pstart.com and going into the extras section). Pixel Vision, a video game never produced, Ray's Vision, to allow you to experience it.

From its bouncy introduction to its catchy conclusion, Pixel Vision takes you back to the days of Mario World and Sonic the Hedgehog, with each new song illustrating a new level, a new situation. In essence, Pixel Vision is the soundtrack to the perfect game that doesn't exist.
So if you want to be okay, go listen to your normal music.
If you want to be great, buy this album.
