MDR reminds you of what Rock is all about
There are few bands out there (new and experienced) with such an amazing musical range and repertoire. Their music is fresh and energetic and their messages cater to audiences of all ages. The MDRs are not afraid to experiment with new sounds and they have a distinctive crescendo in most of their songs that will give you a "thrill ride". There's not even one bad song in this album, they are all awesome. "Plane in flames" is an instant classic and a must for your collection.
If you only saw their first show...
This group has grown exponentionally since the first show they played at The Lizard Lounge. The album is so shockingly good you will think it is from a more popular/ handsome band. Good work MDR.
Great in Concert
Saw these guys in Hartford, CT in Feb. '07, and they can really put it out live! They got the whole club on their feet and staying there. Great energy on stage. The CD doesn't really capture that intensity, but they are definitely a band to watch on their way up.
