Fantastic

Four stars easy
by savagegreenI'm sorry, but this is the coolest thing I've come across in ages. I LOVE medieval music, especially, as here, played on authentic instruments. And who doesn't like Sabbath? Well, I do, anyway. But it's the way Rondellus has approached it that I find just fascinating. The songs really do sound as though they were from the 1400's or thereabouts. I recommend this disc without reservation, especially to adventurous purists on both sides of the divide. Metal meets Gregorian Chant with crumhorns and drones? And in Latin, yet? I think so!

by REDINKSIA daring attempt and it works. My only complaint would be that I think that some of Black Sabbath's strongest melodies are missing . A no brainer would have been "Supertzar".
