Been a fan of Sabbath since 1970 and as alot of others have pointed out, most tributes stink! This is how Sabbath should be heard outside of the originals! Great stuff!!

I'm sorry, but this is the coolest thing I've come across in ages. I LOVE medieval music, especially, as here, played on authentic instruments. And who doesn't like Sabbath? Well, I do, anyway. But it's the way Rondellus has approached it that I find just fascinating. The songs really do sound as though they were from the 1400's or thereabouts. I recommend this disc without reservation, especially to adventurous purists on both sides of the divide. Metal meets Gregorian Chant with crumhorns and drones? And in Latin, yet? I think so!

A daring attempt and it works. My only complaint would be that I think that some of Black Sabbath's strongest melodies are missing . A no brainer would have been "Supertzar".
