think of all the times you've listened to konstantine...
So I was sitting here contemplating whether or not to purchase this. Sure, I already have all these songs, and some of them I even have a few versions of. It'd be nice to have some fancy remixed ones to listen to, but that alone didn't push me over the edge. Then I started thinking the hundreds (maybe thousands) of times I've listened to Konstantine. I started thinking about all the bad (albeit slightly emo) times it's gotten me through and I can't justify NOT purchasing at least that track.
Like probably all of you, I never paid for Konstantine as it was never formally released. I feel like giving Andrew McMahon the 99 cents for that one track is the least I can do to show my appreciation for writing and releasing it so many years ago.
I fully understand that this is Geffen's ploy to squeeze a little bit more money out of Something Corporate since Jack's Mannequin has gotten popular. I also understand that it is Geffen, not Andrew and the band, that are going to see the money off of this. But still, actually owning that one track alone is worth it to me.
We want Letters to Noelle!
Something Corporate was truly the soundtrack of my teenage years. If you are not familiar with Something Corporate, buy this album.
But iTunes, what are you doing to the hardcore fans who already own every SoCo song except for the rerecording of Letters to Noelle?! There is no way I am going to buy the whole album for one "album only" song, even if its an iTunes exclusive! Common Apple, we're your customers, haven't I already given you enough of my money through iTunes, iPods, MacBooks, etc.? Very disappointed.
