Post-Mod at its finest.
I had never heard of this band prior to attending a Squeeze concert in 1985. I was truly blown away by this band. Formed out of the ashes of the then defunct Nine Below Zero, these guys were kind of a sequel to what The Jam had started - mod music. By this time The Jam were all done and Paul Weller had formed The Style Council, so there was a void in modern pop mod bands. The album didn't do much in the States, and I'm very surprised to find it here on iTunes. I had previously ad to order a copy of the CD directly from the their website - it had long been out of print when I.R.S. Records went under. If you like The Jam - check this out. Also, the core members have since reformed Nine Below Zero, and you might like their stuff too. Key Tracks: Exception of Love, Playground, Spread A Little Sunshine, I'm In Tune - although there really is not a bad song on this album.
