A Long-Time Favorite Album

I fell in love with this album when it first came out, and have bought this for many friends. I love it just as much twenty-five years later. It's a perfect blend of the talents of the two artists, and I love each and every song. La Maja de Goya is my favorite track, but only by a hair. This is a beautiful illustration of how wonderful the pairing of a gorgeous voice and an accomplished instrumentalist can be. It would be easy to say that Battle is accompanied by Parkening, but to me it is more like a duet between the human voice and the voice of an instrument.
