Funniest man in America
Do yourself a favor: download this album. The subscribe to Never Not Funny, Jimmy's podcast. You will laugh until you hurt.
Hilarious!
Jimmy Pardo works the audience for about 98% of this album and it is 100% funny, (my thanks to Gene Shalit). It is hysterical and fascinating to hear this master at work. Only having seen his prepared material on television it is great to listen to how he actually talks to an audience in a club.
Not meant to be a regular comedy album
For those of you who hate this because it is almost all Jimmy working the crowd, that is what it was MEANT to be. If you had a physical version of the CD with the liner notes (or listen to Jimmy's hilarious podcast), you'd know that this was MEANT to be an entire CD of him working the crowd. If you want a great COMEDY album, go buy his first CD, appropriately titled, "Uno" (although I don't think it's being produced anymore.) This is a fantastic album that I highly recommend. Just be aware that it is almost all improvisation and its not a normal comedy album.
