Pop Trash Movie

"Pop Trash Movie" sounds like it was written for britney spears even though the song is from 2000. "someone else not me" the only single from the album is a great song "hallucinating elvis" should have been a single as well as "lava lamp". the album isnt their best but it has some respectable tracks worth having if your a DD fan. thank you itunes for finally including it in the list.

Yay iTunes again!

This album + Medazzaland are both good albums, I'm glad iTunes put them both out. Hallucinating Elvis is probably one of my favorite tracks... and Lava Lamp.

Underrated

When considering my favorite Duran Duran albums from top to bottom, this one falls somewhere right in the middle. It's given short shrift compared to some of their other releases, but even without John Taylor on bass, it still rolls. The bonus tracks - Prototypes, the French and Spanish versions of Someone Else Not Me - are of no use to me at all, but the album in its original form is nearly flawless. The same can not be said of releases like Big Thing, Medazzaland, Liberty and The Wedding Album, all of which I rank lower in the depth chart. I'm glad this version of Duran Duran is gone for good, partially because they left this as their final word.

Duran Duran's reputation was built through music videos, which accentuated their fashion-model looks and glamorous sense of style. Without music videos, it's likely that their pop-funk — described by the group as the Sex Pistols meets Chic — would never have made them international pop stars. While Duran Duran did have sharper pop sensibilities than their new romantic contemporaries like Spandau...
