The energy of this band is what snagged me. I've been lucky enough to see them live several times...and they rock. The EP is a well-rounded sampling of their capabilities - from the snarling lyrical tone and bass thunder of "Nice Clean Shirt" to the ethereal melancholy of "Hollywood" these boys are throwin' it down. My personal faves are the slap-in-the-face, hard-driving "Power Hungry Mega Hurt" (an Indie anthem if I ever heard one) and "To The Wind" which can be found in video form on MySpace. Eat 'em all up and then go see them live this fall. C U there.

The Southampton Collection by Eastern Conference Champions is easily my favorite album of the year and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for good, original music. You just can't not like "Nice Clean Shirt" or "Hollywood". Check them out and tell a friend!
