"A New Life"

On the surface, the "Premonition" soundtrack might not be what you want to listen to when you go to sleep, however, once you see the movie you are able to see just how much these songs relate to life. There are the somber, sad moments; there are the downright scary ones; and finally there are the peacefully joyful and content times that you share with others. Personally, I would recommend for anyone to see the movie first to relate before buying the soundtrack. Of course, even after seeing the movie, you might not find the music to be your "cup of tea," but no matter how disturbing this sounds, I find it peaceful and ready to help you give your life "A New Life" as the last track is titled. Above all, if you do not happen to enjoy this type of scoring, at least give the last chance, "A New Life," a chance--in a sad but bliss way it has helped me and soothed me, and made me cry along the way. In closing, a good movie or soundtrack is one that you can look back on and have empathy and compassion for, and this is what "Premonition" has done for me. I really do feel for Linda Hanson from "Premonition" and the musical scores definitely do help me.

"A New Life"

Head straight for the piece "A New Life" and download it. It's quiet and haunting and full of stillness: I just love it. It reminds me of some of the quieter moments from Kerry Muzzey's "Home Movies" CD... peaceful, tranquil, and haunting. Klaus Badelt is one of my favorite composers these days, having worked his way through the Zimmer factory. Incredible talent.

Excellent Taste

From the moment I heard the first note strike, I knew I was going to come to my computer and download the album immediately... I found the end of the movie distasteful as usual for a post 9/11 movie - Why does everyone have to DIE now!!??? I'd have been satisfied with a fairytale ending... But I suppose directors think people are too sophisticated for that kind of thing now... Anyway (end rant)... This music literally permeated the movie and added a beautiful touch of thoughtfulness at each scene... A class act of music for a classy film... Get it now...!
