Really. Fantastic.

Arguably the best new band of 2011, and it's $6. Fans of Arcade Fire and The New Amsterdams will feel right at home with this Orange County original that bends and blends genres without any observable sense of irony. What they have created here is a pile of apparent contradictions: approachable but not simple, sincere but still fun, and they claim that it's "independently produced," but it sounds like Tom Lord-Alge mixed it.

One standout track is "Shoulds and Should Nots" which has a Modern English feel to it as it layers stabby pianos, and shouty vocal slapbacks on top of delicious retro guitar and drum sounds.

Another favorite is "Where You Are" which sounds like it could have been lifted from a Tim Burton movie, and makes my mouth want to drink hot cocoa.

This music literally begs to be danced to - the sort of songs that might not grab you on the first listen, but that you'll find yourself going back to over and over again. There is something here for anyone who loves music.

Great Band with a Unique Vibe

Love "presenting the Devious Means". Saw them live and this EP catches all the energy of a live performance. Like I said in the title, they have a unique vibe and really stand out from the crowd. Check it out!

Amazing

Saw these guys live at a church in my town of Yucaipa, I have never danced until I listened to them. Perfect EP.
