Album Review
Paul Cardall's tender-hearted treatment of spiritual children's songs makes Primary Worship one of his most accessible albums. Light piano arrangements are accompanied at times by sensational cellist Steven Sharp Nelson and percussionist Randy Herbert. Cardall gives these songs a grown-up sound rather than attempting anything too light or playful. Out of hundreds of possible selections in the Latterday Saint repertoire, he selected some of the most treasured and oft-sung. This does not limit the album's appeal, but instead shows off Cardall's innate ability to create music that can penetrate the souls of believers and nonbelievers alike.

Beautiful Piano Music from Primary
The music is very soft and relaxing for me. I love to hear songs that I love being played so beautifully on the piano. I love the sounds of the children playing in the background with the beautiful music, especially in "I Am a Child of God." It adds a deeper message to the music.
