non-stop beats
I saw San Serac live when he was touring with the Junior Boys and became instantly hooked--so fresh and totally dance-able. All his albums are sweet listening--can't get enough!
The Rebirth of Bowie?!
"Teenage Wildlife" is easily the best Bowie cover I've heard. San Serac does it better than Bowie, in fact, creating one of the best singles of the year. While the rest of the album is okay, "Teenage Wildlife" is well worth $0.99. The lazy synth and tin can/cowbell percussion (what is that sound?) make this a masterpiece of nu-New Wave.
Amazing album and live show
This guy is the full package. The album is one of my favorites of all time! It’s fun and listenable and his musical prowess comes through in each track.
On top of all that, he is an amazing performer too. The album is great, but it doesn't hold a candle to his energy on stage. If you can get the chance to see him perform GO!
