Awesome

I have been waiting so long for a new Jackopierce album. Promise of Summer, I Gotta Know, Get It Right rank up with other great Jackopierce tracks like You're Mine Tonight and Woman as Salvation. Its been a long time since we had a new release and I think they delivered. Love the harmony and acoustic guitar work throughout the entire album.

Jackopierce is back!!!

A solid return from Jack and Cary. I still believe they are one of the most underrated bands out there. Jackopierce has a catalog of nothing but strong albums. Buy this album and if you are a new Jackopierce fan make sure you buy the album "Bringing on the Weather" which is one of top 5 albums of all time. Released in 1994, Bringing on the Weather is an incredible record before it's time. I wished they would have released in the late 1990's and I am certain it would have gone multi-platinum.

FINALLY!

After entirely too long, Jack O'Neill and Cary Pierce (AKA Jackopierce) have finally reunited with a stellar release! This album has all the classic JP sounds that you know and love with a maturity that could only come from ten plus years of life experience! Check out "Texas" if you are Jack fan. The song is simply beautiful. The guys have been gone a long time but clearly they have not lost the classic folk/texas pop sound that made legions of college aged kids fall in love with them to begin with. This album is WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY!

Formed: 1988 in Dallas, TX

Years Active: '90s

One of the hardest-touring bands of the '90s, Jackopierce slipped under the mainstream's radar to earn a widespread following on college campuses with their pleasant acoustic folk-pop. Guitarists/singers Jack O'Neill and Cary Pierce founded the duo in 1988, while both were attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas as theater majors. Honing a charmingly simple, low-key sound centered around vocal harmonies and acoustic guitars, the two developed a strong local following around the Dallas area....
