Jon McLaughlin gives us a song of hope...
This is one reason you should see McLaughlin before he makes it too big. You want to hear him do this song in a small venue playing soulfully at his piano in a dimly lit nightclub. You can feel the hopeful promise in his voice ~ especially toward the end when the music takes a quiet backseat and the strings gently glide with his voice. As parents, this is a song to remind us of all we wanted for our children from the very start. Listen to it as you hold your child ~ son or daughter ~ in the quiet stillness of a dark night. Listen again as you watch your teenager sleep after a hard argument that left you both searching for a way to bond. Listen once more as you watch your child drive off to college or to their first apartment and you are left with memories of years gone by. And, finally, listen as they find the love Jon sings for and you give your daughter away or watch your son commit to his love on their wedding day. A song of hope and a song of reflection.
Smells like a Father/Son Anthem..
Once again, Jon's pianist abilities soar in his new single "Proud Father." This peaceful ballad is half Fathers day tribute and half soothing piano solo. Jon deeply expresses the love of between a father and his newborn child with his soulful voice. A great buy if you want a new addition to your restful night playlists.
Just Amazing
There really is no words to describe how good Jon McLaughlin is. This guy is destined to be a massive megastar. There is no reason to listen to any other albums or songs, just listen to Jon McLaughlin. If You haven't bought some of his songs, you need to soon. I am counting down the seconds till his next album comes out. I am such a huge fan of Jon. His music is so soothing and uplifting.
