Customer Reviews
A little too harsh
Shane and Shane are very passionate in their pursuit of the living and sovereign God. I do not think other reviews have given them justice of their pioneer work as well as their impacting lyrics. Although a little under-produced, this cd is still a great cd to buy if you are a Shane fan. I personally do not have it because many of the songs are on the better produced (in terms of studio quality) second Psalms cd they have. Either is great.
Overproduced
I love Shane and Shane, they are simply amazing musicians but upon listening to this album I was disappointed. The first Shane and Shane album I listened to was upstairs and it was phenomenal. This album feels overproduced and the electric guitar is heavily used. You will love this album if you like electric guitar and studio effects. I however prefer acoustic sets with minimal studio tampering. Also, I think the acoustic feel is more appropriate for the style of music that Shane and Shane play. If you are like me I highly recommend upstairs, which is one of the best albums I have ever heard. Jayce
Psalms
Shane& Shane show their passion for God through all of these songs. They praise God through simplistic verses, but they also share the gospel through complex words, but they all seem to hit home.
