BD "worst" kept secret from country radio

So often nowadays, the word "artist" is thrown around with little care or thought process behind what it really and truly means to be one. Teenage girls swoon to the pop/love songs that other (so-called) "artists", like Rascal Flatts, have written for them. Look I'm not sayin' the guys can't sing, but, being an artist is more than just having a good voice.

I was introduced to Brian's music by a friend in Feb. of 2010 and have been HOOKED ever since. He plays it, he sings it, he WRITES it. There's no doubt that all his songs are 100% from the heart. Look, when artists CO-write songs I am impressed, I have a greater appreciation for them, because you can FEEL the music when they perform it. And when they write over 90% of their material themselves(BD), it takes it to a whole new level of awesomeness.

Also, I'm a hometown(state) guy, and the fact that BD is from the great state of NC just completely sets him over the top in my mind.

Finally, I had the chance to attend his concert in Charlotte in March and on top of being a great perfomer, he's a complete down to earth guy. After givin' one kickass show, then he came out and signed any and everything, and just hung out with the masses.

For the moment my favorite BD song is Talk a Little While on My Tailgate, and I mean let's be honest, what guy wouldn't want to have a conversation with a girl like that? I know if I ever do have it, I'm buyin a ring for that girl the next day. From the honkytonk get drunk tunes to the slow regretful songs of lost love, every one is filled with something that your soul can relate to.

I could get into breaking down every single song that I like but we'd be here all week. The fact is that Brian Davis IS, what country music needs, a true soulful ARTIST in every aspect, and I'll be listening and following for years to come...

Once again, Brian, you won me over with another cd i cant take out of the stereo (especially since ya signed it for me tonight at the concert!!) great guy, great personality, voice, guitar pickin, just an overall amazing artist. talk a little while on my tailgate, sell em outta beer, my 2 favorites. only problem here is, summer back isnt on the itunes version. it should be track 6, so u should go buy the cd from his site.
