Customer Reviews
Punk happens daily, not in the 70's
All the great punk bands from the 70's are great, but as you can tell from the 70's through the 80's we have seen a massive decline in punk culture, bands Like NOFX and Rancid are keeping punk alive, its our lifeline so to speak of punk, NOFX shouldnt be tossed out your way of thinking becuase there not 45 yrs old and are missing band members. But should be a inspiration to you and the new generation of punk, which cleary is struggling. Punk is not dead, its in acoma. You can sit and complain about how bands like NOFX are posers, But there keeping punk alive, and obviosly your not helping.
Response to the Poser Claim
I have listened to the Germs, Kennedy's, and the circle jerks and I enjoy them all, but I fail to see how NOFX are posers. So by your logic, if they weren't formed in the 70s they are posers. And that's just crazy. Punk was a response to disco and hippies, saying that it was ok to be angry at the world. My two favorite punk bands are Bad Religion 81, Nofx 83.
PUNK-O-RAMA
dude, i went to warped tour '07 in st helens, so this kinda brought back memories. i hadnt heard of any of these songs but they were still pretty awesome just because of the bands.
