SEE THEM LIVE!!!
I had the pleasure of getting this album a week before it was released. Every live performance is a treat to see just how they utilize as many instruments as they can at once. This trio also has such a splendid vocal blend with every harmony they compose.
Although this album cannot capture the true essence of their live show, the production and arrangements for this album are quite a ride in itself.
JamesHeatherJames, I ask you to please keep writing the songs you write.

These three artists are an absolute gift to the music world. This album is nothing short of brilliant. They give us clever lyrics, brilliant tunes, loads of heart, and beautiful harmonies. James, Heather and James offer us such a gorgeous diversity in the music and you will be sure to love every single song. PLEASE see this band live after you buy this CD. There is no other experience that compares to watching them play/sing their wonderful hearts out!

Yeah The Spring Standards are one of those few bands that you have to see to fully appreciate. I miss being able to go to their shows since leaving NYC but having a full length album to go along with the still incredible ep goes a long way to make it alright.
The new albums production quality is top notch and the arrangements are fantastic. Put on a good set of headphones, turn the volume up and it doesn't get much better than that.... GET THIS ALBUM
