Album Review

Eve to Adam play average hard rock with a metal bent on their third album, and their first to gain major-label distribution. They're far from the only band to use metal/pop clichés, but they're certainly here in the blustery vocals, unmemorably creepy melodies, and hush-to-a-shout ascensions/reversions back to the pounding hard rock formula on those occasions when they venture into softer/more vulnerable passages. "Comin' Home (A Stranger)" falls into some of these clichés, but stands out in this company for some more thoughtful lyrics about displacement than their typical composition does. But overall this displays little imagination that would distinguish itself within its genre.

Opening Band For Creed

ETA opened for Creed on both nights in Kansas City. ETA was the only band that changed their set list. They set the tone with the opener "Gift" and continued to rock through the seven song set. I never heard of ETA until the first night but now I'm buying both CD's. Hopefully, they will open for Creed in Council Bluffs. Expect to see ETA as a headliner.

This didn't really sit well with Taki Sassaris. By late 1998, the brothers moved to New York and began rebuilding the band. They recruited more members there and...
