Customer Reviews

Regardless

I love the redundancy of this album. It is calming and intimate, and the consistency of it makes for a lovely, tender feel. Regardless of the review's dislike of the sameness of the tracks, I find Quiet is the New Loud to be a blissful escape from stress and a beautiful companion for solitude.

Perfectly Varied

I really dislike the iTunes review, as this can be listened to anywhere, not just to create a "rainy day" mood. All of the songs create a mood of their very own , which is carried throughout the whole of the album with perfection.

All of these songs are different and bring something new to the table. The album is hardly redundant, as each song is layered with different meanings and melodies.

This remains to be my favorie KoC album, as the incipient greatness has yet to be matched, although Declaration of Dependance came close.

A truly excellent album, and perfect for anyone who appreciates good music.

Latecomer

I love the Kings of Convenience so very much, I couldn't even quantify it. This one is fantastic, as I knew it would be. I think more than "Quiet is the New Loud," they also mean pared down is the new powerful- because it is. Less is so much very more.
