Brilliant record
The beautiful lyrics and the amazingly dynamic songs of this album prove to make Quitters Lauren's best effort of forever. It's so good. Holy crepes. Favourites are "I Belong to You", "If Found/Gravity", "Maybe True Stories", "The Same Things" (this version is even better than the JuNu one! Crazy, right?), and "White Noise." Basically half the album so I suggest just buying the whole thing because it is so well done and just beautiful gahhh
I super especially love Gravity. I feel like I'm in a really good film's final montage scene whenever I listen to it.

Another Success
Another amazing album. "I Belong to You" is by far, one of the best songs I have heard in years.

It's definitely a mellow album. The title "Quitters" should give away that this isn't a collection of feel good, happy go lucky songs written upon Lauren's best days. It's not depressing though, it's just mellow. That said, if you're looking for an album to get you up in the morning with a big smile... I doubt this is for you. But this album reminds me of what it means to use music as an art form.
A combination of intricate songwriting, well composed melodies and skillful preformances, Lauren O'Connell managed to twist the hearts of her listeners by pouring her own into this album. Well worth a listen, or a few.
