The Tea Club write incredibly well-layered, complex, earnest Rock!
This album & its predecessor "General Winter's Secret Museum" are a portrait of a band obviously heavily influenced by King Crimson, early Genesis, Rush & other notable Prog acts of the late 70's-mid 80's. The descending guitar line on the final track "Astro" just sends chills through me! These guys have encapsulated everything about those other artists that thrilled but w/ a spin & a modern twist that gives them entirely their own feel. It's well structured, well articulated, proggy rock music that knows how to push the right buttons emotionally. Very talented & underappreciated Philadelphia/New Jersey area band that deserves significantly more attention nationally!
Here's hoping their music on iTunes will get them a bit more shine! Take a moment to preview a few of the tracks from this album & the 1st album "General Winter's", you won't be disappointed if you're an art-rock/prog fan.

Amazing band. The only band i wish for my band to share the satge with repeatedly. These guys music will make you feel nostalgic,sad,hopeful, and depressed all at the same time. It's like an epic brew of emotions that only the awake can relate to. If they don't get signed by the end of this epic new year.... music should just quit on itself. Happy new year tea club.
