Album Review
Despite the presence of Ministry's Al Jourgensen and his brutal guitar riffs, Skinny Puppy sounds as if they're at a loss for ideas on their fifth album.

Confirmation
The official review posted for this album projects great ignorance and general insincerity.
It is aversive to the grounds by which reviews are created and posted,
and although the fact that such destructive parasitism has already been recorded
may not be changed, neither should it be displayed or featured
on the basis that it is a faulty contribution.
Album reviews are meant to be informative
and sensational; they should not be brash or vindictive.
Such inept derision should be reserved for the president.
All the while, an army of fragmentation fills my tirade
with silent conversions and smiley winks.
We all know that I'm just a child looking for attention;
not to mention, the reviewer was my second grade
teacher and my old best friend. (*smile/wink*)
There's no irony in having this review expunged;
history shows us that human error is
a hierarchy of inequity.
The official review should either be deleted and replaced
or stored on the system among all other reviews,
any user-produced reviews opposing the official review
to either be deleted as well or accordingly featured
in order to project the illusion of welfare beneficiency.
Otherwise, the plundering incentive of this hierarchy
of inequity has been perpetually halted.
(Forescript, in general summarization: this review is offensive
and has been written without any form of justification.
There's no support for the reviewer's distinct postulation,
and yet the review has been posted void of any given vantage point.
The deemed official review ought to be shelved and filed as
an alternative amongst the others. It does not meet any standards
of qualification and defies the principle format of reviews
in that it refuses to criticize or evaluate the album by any means.
This review neglects its duty and abuses its intent.
That is why, in modest terms, it requires revision.)
Don't believe the backlash
Ministry's Jourgensen gets way too much blame and credit for this album. Ministry's sudden rise to mainstream fame and its backlash have overshadowed this albums accomplishments in nearly every review I have seen. This is not Skinny Puppy's best album but it may contain two of their best and most polar opposite songs, Warlock and Tin Omen. The problem with this album lies in its 3 or 4 throwaway tracks (TTG, Rain, Rivers, and Choralone) not in the rest. The 16 minute bonus closer is another reason to invest in this if you have ventured far enough into Puppy territory to want to go further than the songs on Singles Collect.
very good
um.....all the tracks on here are amazing. its fallower too dark park is by far their best. but this album was very ministry inspired. a more heavier album of sorts. i gie this album 4 stars because some of the instrumental songs are a little too much even for me. but tracks like rodent, hexonx, two time grime, fascist jock itch, worlock, rain, tin omen. so basicaly 1-7(could have just said that i guess) are the high lights of the album. a must buy for anybody into industrial
